REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS COMBINED PHYSICAL NEEDS ASSESSMENT
The New Albany Housing Authority (NAHA) will issue Request for proposals (RFP) from qualified firms to conduct a combined physical needs assessment of its public housing units. NAHA has a goal of producing two (2) separate reports for each of the listed NAHA sites, a Section 18 Demolition/Disposition Compliant Report and a RAD Physical Condition Assessment (RPCA) per the scope of work provided. Four sites will require both reports while the others will require only the RPCA. Respondents should have experience with RPCAs as well as experience completing a PNA report that was part of a Section 18 demolition/disposition application to the Special Applications Center (SAC).
New Albany Housing Authority is a public housing agency who had a total of 1082 public housing units but recently completed a no-debt RAD conversion of 64 units. Currently there are 1014 remaining Public Housing units. The following sites will be included in this assessment: Beechwood Court, Broadmeade Terrace, Parkview Terrace, Parkview Tower, Riverview Tower, and Vance Court. Beechwood Court and Riverview Tower will be RPCA only.
The Request for Proposals will be issued on August 14, 2017.
Proposals are due by 2:00 PM, local time, on September 11, 2017 in New Albany, Indiana.
